How do you bring life back to 11 abandoned garages in one of the most sought after areas in Southwest London? – You build four new stunning homes.
For years, the site of our Putney project had been almost derelict. Not even half of the 11 garages that were originally on this site were being used. The site was not only underutilised but had unfortunately also attracted fly tippers which added to the site’s decline.
Over eight years ago, this site had been approved for redevelopment and was to be occupied by one large family home. Due to many circumstances outside of the original developer’s control – including a dip in the market – this was not to be.
When our team took over the project, and after careful assessment of the area’s infrastructure and housing stock, it was decided that the best solution was to abandon the single dwelling plan and replace it with four modern, beautifully designed, two bedroom homes. This format was not only more suitable for the current market in terms of the project’s viability but would also be perfect for the area’s demographics.
With a GDV of 3.1 million, our Putney project is well underway, and is set to be completed within its 18 months projected schedule. The final product will be a great addition to the area.
